Project RUBRIC 10 points

Choose any ecosystem you like that is not
in our textbook. Use the
internet, encyclopedia (printed or on-line such as Encarta), magazine, or other
book of your choice. Identify your
ecosystem by giving it a name of your own choosing or one that you see in your source
of information.

Draw a circle chart show all
of the following:
1.5 pts a.
three autotrophs (producers)
1.5 pts b.
six 1st level consumers
(herbivores that eat the plants)
1.5 pts c.
three 2nd level consumers
(carnivores that eat herbivores)
1.5 pts d.
two 3rd level consumers
(carnivores that eat other carnivores)
Your
chart should have arrows showing the direction of energy flow from sun to
autotrophs, autotrophs to herbivores (possibly more that one herbivore eating
each autotroph), herbivores to carnivores (possibly more than one carnivore
eating each herbivore), and finally showing carnivore to other carnivores.
